Filmcity, a Malayalam film magazine, recently announced the winners of the best film awards of the year 2006. Shrinivasan and Navya Nair have won the awards for the best actor and actress respectively.

Shrinivasan won the award for his performance as a harried advocate in the film 'Yes Your Honour', produced by Grihalakshmi Productions. The film also won the award for the best film of the year. VM Vinu, the film's director won the award for best director.

Other award winners include Naren, Radhika, Jagadi Shreekumar, Vanitha Krishnachandran, comedy actor Suraj, G Venugopal (best male playback singer), Manjari (best female playback singer)Vayalar Sharatchandran (best lyricist) and Alex Paul (best music director).

The awards will be given away at a function to be held on the 1st of February in Thiruvananthapuram.
