Dileep makes it a point to release a film on his birthday, the 4th of July. This time around, he is going to release the film named after his birthday, on his birthday, 'July 4'.

For the first time, he is pairing with Roma.

He is Gokuldas, a very honest and straightforward taxi-driver, whose main center is the Coimbatore airport. It is by sheer accident that he ends up becoming the driver of businessman Vishwanath. Soon, with his excellent behavior and guileless heart, he becomes very popular among the family members.

Vishwanath has a daughter, Lakshmi. He intends to get her married to the son of an IAS officer.

A day before the engagement, Gokuldas and she disappear from the house…

The film has all the ingredients that one usually finds in a Joshi film. This one is being shot in ten different locations in Kerala and Tamilnadu. Shaji is the cinematographer.
